Cultural archives of the Münster Valley The Biblioteca Jaura in Valchava is part of the Società Chasa Jaura and is run by the Archivs culturals da la Val Müstair association. As a publicly accessible documentation center, it forms the cultural memory of the Val Müstair. Writings and media on regional history, customs and language are kept here. It is one of the most important collections of sources, particularly for the Rhaeto-Romanic language variant "Jauer".
The cultural archive is open to all interested parties - especially local and foreign Jauer residents and language researchers from all over Europe.
