Description

For five years, Michael Martin traveled around the world with his camera, photographing in the Arctic, the Himalayas, the Andes, the South Pacific, Arabia, the Amazon Basin, the savannas of East Africa, as well as the Siberian taiga and the steppes of Central Asia. This resulted in ten faces of the Earth, which, in addition to fascinating landscapes, also present animals, plants, and cultures in all climate zones of our planet. Besides the worldwide adventurous journeys, Michael Martin also dealt with the history of the Earth, which emerged from chaos 4.5 billion years ago and developed into a planet full of life and diversity. He makes it clear that the Earth was in the prime of its development when humans appeared on the stage of life 180,000 years ago and began to shape and now also destroy it. Michael Martin's new multivision TERRA paints the big picture of the Earth; it is a tribute to the beauty of nature and the miracle of life.
