For many years, "Schimpf vor 12," the satirical year-in-review of the Münchner Lach- & Schießgesellschaft, was a staple in German television. Sharpness and wit sparked discussions that helped the entire country through the winter. In 2024, this tradition was successfully revived by Lach- & Schieß. A new team, consisting of poetry slam artist and language acrobat Frank Klötgen, cabaret artist and stand-up comedian Claudia Pichler, as well as Lach- & Schieß director and cabaret philosopher Sven Kemmler, puts the past twelve months into focus through rhymes, pamphlets, and chansons. Accompanied by Lukas Mario Meier on the piano with elegance and liveliness. And as much as can be promised after the last two editions: no year in review covers more ground, none goes deeper — and in sharpness and wit, Lach- & Schieß is already unsurpassable by tradition. Expect a satirical annual medley with bite and humor, poetry, and chaos.
