Description

Theater Na Jezerce warns - social networks cause addiction! Eighty-year-old Alfons - a sculptor, lover of women and good wine - takes care of his exact opposite - Alex, an introverted grandson who is heavily addicted to social networks and doesn't know what to do with himself. The mutual misunderstanding is intensified by the sculptor's aversion to technology and everything new. However, he intends to defend his position tooth and nail, just as his grandson does. Through a series of comedic misunderstandings, we witness not only generational conflicts and the endearingly awkward search for a way to connect, but also a world where social networks become a variation on the story of the Tower of Babel. As a result, our duo ends up in couples therapy led by Alfons's friend and Alex's mother's secret lover, where they want to address grievances and reconcile their relationship. Instead, after a few lessons from his grandson, Alfons falls under the spell of Facebook and Instagram, and Alex secretly films his grandfather, entertaining the internet and his potential love interest, non-binary Eva, who still doesn't want to sleep with him. When a discussion about social networks, fluid gender, futility, and aging opens up during lunch, a nice mess is in the making.
