Description

Live folk music with the well-known Mosi-Musig. The Mosi-Musig was formed after the disbandment of the Mosibuebä following the death of Pauli Lüönd. The joy of Swiss folk music has been with the Mosibuebä since their school days. This is no coincidence, as there were several musicians in the family, such as the Betschart's (Pitschä) and Albert Lüönd. Pauli often played with Rees Gwerder in his youth and was very interested in the style of the old Urner and Muotathaler hand organ players. He was also a big fan of the Schmidbuebe. Alois was very interested in the playing of Bernhardin Schmidig (Lunni's Bärädi). Later, he was inspired by the organ doctor Martin Nauer, with whom he also performed many shows. He also followed the old music of the Swiss organ virtuosos Josef Stump and Balz Schmidig as well as Ernst Inglin. With the original compositions of Pauli and Alois, the unmistakable Mosi style developed. Some young organ players now also perform these dances, ensuring the continuation of the Mosi sound. Daniel Gwerder had similar role models as the Mosibuebä. Furthermore, he is interested in the music of Kasi Geisser and Josias Jenny. His father and grandfather were also enthusiastic Swiss organ players. With his original compositions, he enriched the repertoire of the Mosibuebä. Thomas Scherrer was also very interested in old organ music and the Mosibuebä. He plays many pieces by Pauli and some by Alois exactly as originally performed. On bass, officially Philipp Schuler or Häppy Imholz, and as substitutes Kari Schorno. Occasionally, the Swiss organ teacher Reto Grab or Mario Jossen also assist. Reto Grab wrote all the sheet music for the Mosibuebä.
