Montreux Comedy was founded in 1999 and quickly established itself as the must-attend event for French-speaking humor in Switzerland and Europe. Each year, the festival hosts renowned stars as well as promising young talents, offering a unique showcase of the diversity of contemporary humor. Known for its irresistible galas and friendly atmosphere, the festival combines tradition and innovation with varied formats, ranging from one-man shows to group performances. The festival takes place both in Lausanne and Montreux. The shows are held at the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne and at the 2m2c – Auditorium Stravinski in Montreux.
