Description

Christian is a passionate man. Enthusiastic. And deaf. On stage, he becomes the main character of his own life. Through French Sign Language, he tells his journey and the story of a community that has been invisible for too long, while his brother François becomes the accomplice of this two-voice narrative. Far from any lesson, the show reveals how French Sign Language has shaped their relationship with the world as much as the director's writing. After enchanting the Passage audience with Phèdre! (2020) and Giselle... (2023), François Gremaud now offers us a work of "symbolic repair" where theater becomes a space of concrete equality, inviting words to draw themselves in space to slow down time and keep speech alive, even when it trembles.
