The exhibition Models - Shaping Knowledge features over 500 scientific models from more than 150 years of ETH history – many of which are exhibited publicly for the first time. The tour with Roberta Spano and Dr. Dorothe Zimmermann (Collection of Scientific Instruments and Teaching Materials, ETH Library) offers surprising perspectives on objects that made knowledge visible, comprehensible, and teachable. Between teaching aids and research instruments, the models tell of the ideas, questions, and discoveries of their time. The exhibition «Models – Shaping Knowledge» shows more than 500 historical and contemporary exhibits from the collections of ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, many of which are exhibited publicly for the first time.
