Microbrewery Festival at Prague Castle

11 June 2027 – Friday, 2:00–8:00 p.m. 12 June 2027 – Saturday, 12:00–8:00 p.m. The Czech-Moravian Association of Microbreweries is organizing the 14th annual Microbrewery Festival at Prague Castle, which aims to showcase beers from microbreweries across the Czech Republic and give visitors the opportunity to compare them with beers from abroad. In 2027, the Festival will take place on 11 and 12 June at a new venue – Písecká brána (Písek Gate) in Prague 6, just a few minutes’ walk from its previous location near the Royal Garden of Prague Castle. The Festival will therefore remain in its traditional area in the immediate vicinity of Prague Castle, while moving to a new and unique setting. The Festival is distinguished by its focus on tasting – the aim is not to sell and drink as much beer as possible, but above all to taste, discover and explore the diversity of Czech craft beer. Admission includes a catalogue of participating microbreweries, a tasting glass and unlimited tastings of the beers on offer. Brewers and brewery owners will be personally present at the Festival to introduce their beers and provide visitors with information about the brewing process, the ingredients used and the breweries themselves. The opportunity to meet the people behind the beers has long been one of the features that makes the Microbrewery Festival so special. Every year, the Festival also attracts a large number of international visitors. In previous years, beer enthusiasts have travelled to the Festival from countries including Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Austria, Canada and the United States.
