Silent film, live music, and magic theater. What remains of yesterday today? When cinema learned to walk, it was not alone. Musicians, variety, and magic artists were involved from the very beginning. The interaction between technology and art creates challenges, new happiness but also existential threats, new possibilities, means, and a tense population. Reason enough for two showmen to visit this fairground and bring early silent film treasures into the present. With play, magic, and shimmering photons projected onto the screen, an evening program full of wonders is created, with humor, poetry, and perhaps the retrospective even becomes a prospect.
