On October 2nd and 3rd, 2026, the traditional "Metzgete" will take place at Gasslihof in Safien-Thalkirch. The fine meat specialties are prepared by Ueli in Appenzell and supplied for the Metzgete. Offerings include, among others, roast sausage from Grossalp in Safiental, blood and liver sausage from Appenzell, as well as other fine Metzgete specialties. Please register by September 23rd, 2026.
