In the beautiful acoustics of St. Bartholomew's Church, well-known melodies gain unique depth and spiritual dimension. The singing of Magdaléna Malaníková will intertwine with the harp of Lucie Anna Fajkusová. You can expect a chamber acoustic concert full of autumn tenderness, calmness, and emotions, a moment of pause, silence, and a caress for the soul. Performers Magdaléna Malaníková – vocals Magdaléna Malaníková has been dedicated to music since childhood. She started in a choir and has been performing with bands of various genres since she was seventeen. She also engages in her own musical and lyrical creation. Listeners may know her from collaborations with the Avion Big Band, the Great Wind Orchestra of the City of Zlín, and other musical projects. Together with guitarist Petr “Kochtou” Kochaníček, she won the regional round of the Porta festival in 2022 and advanced to the national finals in Řevnice. Her dream project Musica Angelica combines sensitive singing with the captivating sound of the harp. Lucie Anna Fajkusová – harp Lucie Anna Fajkusová studied harp at the Prague Conservatory. She has many years of experience with the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic and musical experiences abroad. Currently, she is also engaged in teaching and passing on her experiences to young musicians. In 2015, she founded the Zlín Harp Ensemble, which regularly performs at concerts and cultural events throughout the Zlín Region. She is also an author of musical arrangements and engages in classical, folk, and popular music.
