Ten years of Meimuna, condensed into an evening full of poetry and tender melodies: With the specially created 13-member formation, their music unfolds in a new, lush size and lets their songs shine in polyphony. Much has blossomed in the past ten years. Song by song, word by word – music that touches the heart and has brought light to dark moments. In the thicket of a search, a unique, lush world was created, carried by doubts and moments of grace – a world where beauty and gentleness are like fire that warms the soul. To celebrate this path and unite the most beautiful chapters of their history in a joint work, Meimuna brought together musicians from their closest artistic environment and expanded the formation with an orchestra ensemble of strings and winds. In this lineup with a total of 13 musicians, a new album was created at Blend Studio in Lutry under the direction of composer and arranger Marino Palma (El Duende), which will be released on September 18. Soon the ensemble will go on a concert tour through selected halls in Switzerland and France – special places where this as magnificent as ephemeral formation can unfold its full size and the richness of its sound colors. One of these special concerts takes place with us – and is so far the only concert in this formation in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. An evening full of poetry and tender melodies.

General Information

The concert by Meimuna takes place at the multimedia cultural stage Royal in Baden. The event presents a special musical journey through the last ten years of the band, with a new album to be released on September 18.
