Description
At Franz Weniger's gas station, not much happens, yet there's quite a bit going on. Four men and a wolf appear, and gradually a story unfolds that involves everyone. The play is filled with quick character changes and clever dialogues. The themes are highly topical, and the evening is mainly humorous. The wolf remains in the background, rhyming, and reveals human contradictions in an extremely satirical manner. As the Bernese Zeitung wrote, "Kunz not only plays one role but five, and in an outstanding, wonderfully comic way." For over 15 years, Bernese actor Matthias Kunz has been performing on Swiss theater and cabaret stages. His work is characterized by current social and political references, mostly in the form of satire. Especially with the theater cabaret duo Strohmann-Kauz, he has made a name for himself at theaters and festivals. "Wolf" is his first full-length solo program.
