An exciting music and dance performance combining traditional North Indian kathak dance by actress and dancer Anežka Hessová with live electroacoustic world music by multi-instrumentalist Tomáš Reindl aka Omnion. Kathak is a classical dance style from North India, rooted in the ancient tradition of storytellers. It continues to surprise with its vibrant energy, dynamics, and unexpected rhythmic forms. Dancer, actress, and musician Anežka Hessová and composer, multi-instrumentalist, and tabla player Tomáš Reindl (Omnion) have collaborated for many years. They worked together in the dance-music project Damaru with Ivana Hessová and Elena Kubičková and later created the concept of Massive Kathak, which they continue to develop and update. It brings together Omnion's electroacoustic world music with Anežka Hessová's unique dance expression, combining traditional kathak techniques with acting and music (singing, accordion).
