MASSACHUSETTS - BEE GEES MUSICAL lets its audience participate in an exhilarating musical-biographical show featuring many of the original musicians from the Bee Gees live concerts at the band's most significant milestones. From the beginnings of their first single release "To Love Somebody" over "Massachusetts", the hot Saturday Night Fever era, to their last major album "You Win Again" in the late 80s. "The most successful family band of all time" is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records! The Gibb brothers from England formed as a pop band in 1958 in Australia and scored their first hits. In 1966, they returned to the UK — the teen idols are already very popular. But that's just the beginning: in the 70s, a hit follows one after another. In 1978, the BEE GEES simultaneously had 5 songs in the top ten of the US charts. The musical "Massachusetts" is musically authentic and also very close to the original in its overall structure, visually and emotionally — because the singers are also three brothers. All major hits will be heard, both early and late songs. The musical part is performed by THE ITALIAN BEE GEES, known from the great TV documentary "50 Jahre Bee Gees". The ambitious Italian Egiziano brothers are in close contact with the Gibb family and have been traveling as "missionaries" of their idols for years. They have already built a dedicated fan base worldwide and possess the exclusive legitimacy of the Gibb brothers to represent the name and musical legacy. They also managed to convince the original producer, keyboardist, and arranger of the Bee Gees from 1975 to 1982, Mr. Blue Weaver, for the musical and to engage him live with all his knowledge of the original arrangements and background stories for these performances. Also joining is founding member Vince Melouney, guitarist and a permanent member of the Bee Gees from 1967 to 1969. Both are also part of the live tour. MASSACHUSETTS tells history and stories: short scenes, interviews, and video clips guide through the career of the Gibb brothers. The dance scenes naturally revive the disco era. Two additional singers also present the fascinating songs that the BEE GEES composed during their career for great artists like Barbra Streisand and Dionne Warwick. General Information

The musical "Massachusetts - Bee Gees Musical" presents the history of the legendary band with many of their most famous songs. The Italian Egiziano brothers, known as THE ITALIAN BEE GEES, bring the music and feeling of the Bee Gees to the stage. The event takes place in Koblenz at Ticketcorner.
