One woman show by Milada Vyhnálková exploring the life story of Charlotte Garrigue Masaryk(ová). - before the performance, a lecture introduction is available from 18:00 (free entry, at Gallery XY-1) "Is it possible that women do not have precise thoughts?" The performance examines the legacy of Charlotte Garrigue Masaryk, a woman who stood by T. G. Masaryk and fought for women's rights. Documentary elements in the form of an interview with actress Milada Vyhnálková and Charlotte Kotik, the great-granddaughter of Charlotte Garrigue Masaryk, along with authentic video materials shot in New York, Charlotte's birthplace, provide a unique perspective on a strong female personality. Girl power intertwines with themes of feminism and the struggle for women's voting rights. "Women's lamentations will not free us," is heard in the performance, which is based on the idea that love, not competition, should rule the world. Remember the fate of the heroine who changed our country. Director and artistic leader Silvia Vollmann, together with actress Milada Vyhnálková, creates a personal monodrama in the style of a lecture performance that combines exposition and stage action. For Vyhnálková, this is her very first solo acting project. With personal openness and humor, she asks why we know Masaryk, but know so little about Masaryková.
