The harp reveals itself from many sides in this coffee house concert. Marika Cecilia Kopp-Riedl takes the audience on a journey through different times and sound worlds: from Baroque elegance by Georg Friedrich Händel to impressionistic colors by Claude Debussy to opera melodies by Gioachino Rossini and Richard Wagner in arrangements for harp solo. The finale is music by the American composer Pearl Chertok, whose miniatures tell a whole day – from an afternoon walk through nocturnal dance rhythms to the morning after.
