When winter shrouds Switzerland in fog, a Swedish Christmas caroling session with Nordic sounds warms heart and soul. Jazz singer Marianne Racine and violin magician Pär Näsbom have been living ‘forever’ in Switzerland, but their ‘homesick songs’ are rarely left behind… Fortunately, in December, the Light Saint Lucia along with associated snowflakes and ice-cold weather are traditionally sung with wonderful songs. Then, heartbreak and polka dancing with stomping shoes take over, and some old hits, even blues, lurk around.
