Marcoca is a psychedelic indie band from Germany, formed from instinct, curiosity, and the meeting of different musical backgrounds. What started as a loose gathering of various influences has developed over time into an independent sound, driven by reverb-drenched guitars, driving grooves, and songs that hover somewhere between clarity and illusion. After their first two releases "Silent Struggles" and "Cosmic Blunder," which helped them build an international audience, their third album "Homage to Delusion" marked an important turning point. The album helped the band truly find and deepen their own sound, characterized by hypnotic textures, warm vintage sounds, and a mix of structure and free flow. This development continued on their current EP "Soliloquy," showcasing a band that has arrived in its own cosmos without standing still. Their DIY approach remains a central part of their creative process, allowing them to freely combine influences from surf, jazz, funk, and psychedelia into something unique. With their first European tour in 2025, this sound finally became a live experience. The songs evolved, gained new dynamics, and left room for spontaneous moments. With another European tour in 2026 and a new album to be released during the year, the band remains in motion. Their current live set combines material from all previous phases and shows how their sound continues to evolve. Marcoca does not follow a fixed plan. Instead, their songs emerge from the moment, driven by intuition, experimentation, and the search for new sound worlds.
