Manfred Lubowitz alias Manfred Mann has shaped music history like almost no other. Who doesn't know them? Hits like "Blinded By The Light", "Davy's On The Road Again", "Father of Day, Father of Night", "Mighty Quinn", "I came for you" have classic status. Over 40 years ago, Manfred Mann founded his legendary Earth Band, with which he was regularly in the charts in the 70s and early 80s. The Earth Band was already famous back then for their sensational live concerts.

Founding member in 1971 was also Mick Rogers, who still plays in the band. At the beginning of 1992, the band, which had disbanded in 1988, was revived by Manfred Mann. Initially, besides the London-based Manfred Mann, only Noel McCalla (vocals), Mick Rogers (guitar, vocals), Steve Kinch (bass), and ex-Jethro Tull drummer Clive Bunker were involved. Later, Chris Thompson (Earth Band member between 1976 and 1980) joined. However, Chris Thompson left the Earth Band again in 1998.

A legendary double live album documented the class of this band in 1997. In 2004, Manfred Mann released his last studio album titled "2006". With this album, Manfred Mann once again proved how creative and pioneering he is. Since 2011, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band has been touring with a new voice: Robert Hart (ex Bad Company). Today, the concerts are better than ever and rockier than ever before!
