Description

With The Art of the Duo, the Nuremberg harpist Maja Taube and the Bern bass clarinetist Jan Galega Brönnimann meet in an equal musical dialogue. Both have been awarded the Cultural Promotion Prize of the Middle Franconia district as well as the Music Prize of the Canton of Bern.

Harp and bass clarinet merge into contemporary chamber music, characterized by flowing transitions between composition, interpretation, and improvisation – rhythmically distinctive, lyrical, and sonically multi-layered. The first joint CD was created from live recordings of a concert series in August 2024 at Kohlenhof Nuremberg.
