Madhouse Express has literally ridden the domestic neo-psychedelic wave and has become one of the most interesting club bands of the contemporary independent scene. Sound experiments, raw rock’n’roll energy, and a variety of musical influences from the trippy sixties to the opiate present. With expansive guitars, magical keyboards, and blurred vocals, they have been brewing a thick psychedelic fog for 10 years. KAKKTUS
They grew out of punk, but now they only use it as a language. Their lyrics resemble musical poems about people who were forgotten before they even had a chance to grow old. Gloomy post-punk, rock’n’roll, and country. The music of Kakktus is a collision of Czech existential poetry with dark, cabaret blues, all in a dirty, authentic environment where no one pretends. The Olomouc band Dead Dog Legacy oscillates between downtuned doom expression, stoner rock heaviness, and beat passages with hints of rap, jazz, or electronics. All wrapped in a gothic atmosphere. Each song creates its own world – in atmosphere, lyrics, and energy. The melancholic atmosphere and play with silence and noise are among the main domains of the newly formed band led by Tomm Prochazka, the singer and guitarist of the defunct Dirty Old Dogs.
