Lyhre (DE) From posthumanist feminism to alt-pop: Lyhre breaks the boundaries between theater and concert. Dark, fearless, and genre-defying, Lyhre explores themes like power and demonstrates her own understanding of pop, which sparks early international interest. Already with her debut, the multi-instrumentalist, composer, and singer-songwriter contributes music to the Netflix series "Elite" and is recognized for her cinematic quality with subsequent works, including a Cannes soundtrack. Classically trained, she composes and produces her own sound influenced by alternative, industrial, and baroque music, deconstructing normative understandings in her lyrics against the backdrop of posthumanist and feminist theories. Whether in her songs, performing upside down on stage, or when she writes entire soundtracks for theater pieces: difficult to categorize but always recognizable, she increasingly leaves her mark on the music landscape. From raw theatricality to mosh pits, Lyhre's concerts are primarily one thing: intense. Surrounded by her instruments, she pounds the keys, with moments where you could hear a pin drop.
