Description

Nelly (Isabelle Huppert), a young woman from Parisian bourgeoisie, is bored with her life with her possessive husband, the head of an advertising agency. In a nightclub, she meets the rough and petty criminal Loulou. Nelly is fascinated by him and begins a passionate affair. When she finally becomes pregnant by him, she must make a decision. Loulou, Maurice Pialat's groundbreaking social drama about a woman between two men, explores female desire and offers biting criticism of French society.
