Living Library: Arriving in Switzerland

Description

The Living Library focuses on personally conveyed knowledge: instead of borrowing books, you engage in conversations with people. These so-called "living books" are storytellers who bring special experiences based on their life stories. On November 6, the invited "books" will share their experiences of arriving in Switzerland, their first steps in a foreign country. They pass on their personal experiences through direct exchange. The goal of these conversations is to contribute to mutual understanding and an open, inclusive society. Procedure: Four group tables are set up in the library. At each table, a person shares their experiences. You are invited to join, listen, and participate in the discussion. Each conversation round lasts about 15 minutes. At the end, impressions from all rounds are reflected together in the Chimlisaal. Afterwards, everyone is invited to an aperitif.
