Description

Dwarfish, a pioneer of the Swiss indie prog adventure rock scene, reunited in 2017 after a long hiatus. However, a comeback album titled "Second Coming" was not enough. In March 2023, the new album "Landscape of Fear" follows. Dwarfish already makes something like rock music. But all four members bring their musically individual characters beyond genre-known patterns and rules, so nothing and no one sounds like Dwarfish. In highly dramatic and over seven corners composed music, they manage to forge elements of over-the-top prog rock, contemporary post-punk, threatening noise storms, and fragile pathos into a monolithic soundscape that demands the highest attention when listening, yes, sinking into it.
