Book adaptation
Sebastian Fitzek, born 1971, is Germany's most successful author. Since his debut "Die Therapie" (2006), he has been at number 1 on the Spiegel bestseller list with all his novels. His books have sold 20 million copies so far, translated into 36 languages, and serve as the basis for international film adaptations and theater productions. As the first German author, Sebastian Fitzek was awarded the European Prize for Crime Literature. "The Neighbor" was published at the end of 2025 and has been a huge success since.
The director
Josef Ulbig is a radio play director and author. Since 2014, he has been working with Lauscherlounge Group, where he leads the creative processes. His debut radio play "Kleiner Drei" (including with Max Riemelt) was produced specifically for Lauscherlounge in 2019. Since 2017, he has directed various children's and adult radio plays (including Andreas Gruber's "Todesfrist"). In recent years, many radio plays by Sebastian Fitzek have been released under his direction ("Der Nachtwandler", "Der Insasse", "Das Paket", "Die Therapie"). "The Package" was his first Fitzek live staging.
Live radio play
Those who close their eyes hear a radio play – but those who open them not only get a unique insight into the production of a radio play but also experience a very special art form on stage. The speakers and a sound effects artist allow the audience to participate in the creation of a radio play and provide a behind-the-scenes look.
Lauscherlounge
