With rubber boat and hiking boots for two through the wilderness of Greenland? – What a crazy idea! It originated in summer 2023 on Lake Lucerne. A year later, Josch and Martin actually set out. The journey lasted three months, taking them across the islands of Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. The core of the live report is the four weeks in East Greenland, which they explored on their own – silently gliding in a packraft between huge icebergs and step by step on foot over scree slopes, glaciers, and through marshy valleys. With impressive images, photographer and geographer Martin Ramsauer tells of this extraordinary journey and combines exciting insights into land and people with the personal experiences of the two adventurers in an entertaining, humorous way.
