I perform magic, therefore I am. (Lionel feat. Descartes) by and with Lionel Dellberg
Direction: Didi Sommer, Comedia Zap International known: Lionel Dellberg Walliser magician comes to Stadttheater Sursee Do you have to be a magician to perform magic? No. Everyone can perform magic! The question is – how good, how often, and why. Lionel proves that magic is in everyone because it is genetically programmed that way. The magic gene transforms you from a Muggle (a person without magical abilities) into a magical person. Join the Oscar-winning Swiss magician on a journey to your own magical self. Every Homo Sapiens has the potential to become Homo Magicus, promise! About Lionel
His skills have already earned him much international recognition: in 2021, he became the first Swiss to win the Fool Us Trophy in the USA. The award is considered the Oscar of the magic world. Lionel managed to astonish the hosts of the Penn & Teller show with his milk bag trick: the two American magic experts simply could not explain how he managed to serve different drinks from the same bag in succession. And then tear it in front of everyone to prove it was not rigged. This magic trick also amazed the audience in Las Vegas, where Lionel performed in summer 2024 before a large live audience. For years, the Walliser has been dedicated to human perception and deception of one or more of our five senses. His current cabaret-style magic program is his fifth full-evening show for theater stages. Pre-sale for the show on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 8:00 PM at Stadttheater Sursee is available via www.ticketcorner.ch
