Linocut Advanced Course

Description

An exciting approach is reduction printing. This involves creating a multicolored relief print using a single linoleum plate. During the process, the printing areas are progressively reduced while the layers build up on the print paper. On this weekend, there is also the possibility to print different motifs in various colors using multiple plates. Initial image ideas and sketches are very welcome.
Participants should bring their own food. The lunch break is shared together.

General Information

The Linocut Advanced Course takes place at the Living Museum Lichtensteig and offers an intensive exploration of the reduction printing technique. Participants can bring their own image ideas and share meals together during the lunch break.
