Forget everyday life and let yourself be carried away by the joy of dancing. You don't have to be a professional to join in – our Social Dance is suitable for all levels. In Lindy Hop, men can follow, women lead, and same-sex partners can dance together. Lindy Hop originated in the 1930s in the African-American culture of New York. The dynamic partner dance captivates with its infectious music, diverse rhythms, and playful improvisation. From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we offer a crash course to help you get started. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Social Dance follows – two hours of swing, dance joy, and socializing at KulturBistro.

General Information

The Lindy Hop Party takes place at the Volkshochschule Region Solothurn and offers a relaxed atmosphere for free dancing. The event is aimed at everyone who enjoys dancing, regardless of their level of experience.
