Lindsay Ferguson is a Canadian singer and songwriter who has long lived in Rüschegg. Over the past fifteen years, she has traveled with her music through Canada and Europe. Lindsay has been singing since she was a child and has refined her voice; her musical style is a varied mix of folk, roots, and pop. She is self-taught on the guitar, which she uses as rhythmic accompaniment to the profound melodies she hears when writing her songs. The power and wisdom she receives from her listeners around the world have contributed to Lindsay's diverse and emotional sound. She writes about love and joy, loss and grief with a touch of "tongue in cheek" (wink). Over the years, Lindsay has been compared to many great female artists, including Joni Mitchell, Cheryl Crow, Adele, and Tracy Chapman. The best part of being a musician is songwriting, which creates a meaningful connection between the audience and herself. She can make the audience laugh and cry within five minutes. Her dynamic voice touches the depths of the soul and sends shivers down the spine.
