Reading. Jakob Schwerdtfeger «Punkt Punkt Komma Strich, fertig ist die Kunstgeschicht.»

Description

Stand-up comedian and art historian Jakob Schwerdtfeger gathers a wealth of masterpieces, insider tips, anecdotes, and art scandals. Over 300 pages, Schwerdtfeger provides a contemporary and refreshing perspective on art history that is not limited to the Western canon. With playful ease, he conveys well-founded facts and passion. This unique blend of entertainment and knowledge allows us to experience art differently. Like a truffle pig, Schwerdtfeger searches for fun facts and explores why the Mona Lisa appeared in a pizza advertisement and how an artist tricked Google Maps: «I wrote the book I have always wanted to read about art.» In his appearance, Jakob Schwerdtfeger refers to the current collection presentation "Relatives" at the Aargau Art Museum. With Leonie Vogt, mediator.
