Description
To close her cycle "Portraits d’actrices", Floriane Comméléran draws inspiration from Judith Godrèche's impactful speech at the César 2024. On stage, Olivia Csiky Trnka and Camille Mermet bring to life an epistolary dialogue where the words of the actress and writer intertwine with those of Anouk Grinberg, based on their respective works Prière de remettre en ordre avant de quitter les lieux and Respect. These two major figures, who have broken the silence on systemic violence against women in French cinema, come together here in an address to a friend, an ally. The setup goes straight to the point: to say, to make heard, to no longer remain silent. Both punk, pop, and rock, the percussion by Colline Grosjean (from the band Massicot) injects an organic pulse into the exchanges. The words clash, respond, and are inscribed in the bodies, at the intersection of theater, music, and movement. A musical and political manifesto that refuses to think of art under the sign of power, preferring justice and sisterhood. As part of the weekend dedicated to sexist and sexual violence in the performing arts.
