This theatrical road trip, blending fictional fragments and chronicles of reality, takes us on a quest for emancipation. A romantic quest for love and the absolute, where a current question echoes: how can youth find its way to build the future when the planet is on fire and blood? Anne Bisang grew up in Japan and Lebanon before returning to Geneva, where she joined the Higher School of Dramatic Art. Rebellion, relationships of dominance and submission, and the desire for emancipation run through her artistic work. After "Annemarie Schwarzenbach or homesickness" by Hélène Bezençon (1997) and "Sils-Kaboul" based on Ella Maillart and Annemarie Schwarzenbach (2017), this is the third encounter between Anne Bisang and the rebellious Swiss woman. Born in 1908, breaking away from her wealthy and conservative Zurich family, Annemarie Schwarzenbach published articles, short stories, and novels. A lucid witness of a troubled era, she tragically died at the age of 34.
