Lennart Schilgen - Out-of-Office Notes Songs, Poems, and Stories - Sometimes cabaret, sometimes satirical, sometimes wonderfully poetic. Being constantly reachable was yesterday. Lennart Schilgen is back with his third program – and shines through absence. When he's not giving concerts and winning small art prizes (Prix Pantheon, Stuttgarter Besen, etc.), he mainly does one thing: to be away from it. Among other things, he goes on bike tours, to monasteries, and to the communist summer camp. Or just into the depths of his thoughts, which is often adventurous enough. Songs emerge about the detours in the world and in one's own mind. Full of lightness and wit, but also without fear of addressing dark corners. This time, some long-hidden things are brought to light: the old PUR cassette. The elementary school reports. The story of the night bus stop. Fortunately, Schilgen safely crosses every abyss – carried by his skilled piano and guitar playing, his voice, and his 'alert mind, with heart and humor and sneaky punchlines' (Laudation for the 'Tuttlinger Krähe'). And if all else fails, there are always the poems: small, linguistic wonder bags, deeply silly, highly artistic.
