The band LELÉKA, founded in Berlin in 2016, is a young, multicultural quartet led by Ukrainian singer Viktoria, whose voice characterizes and sets the atmosphere of the band's music. LELÉKA represents a musical identity bridging cultures, combining jazz-like improvisation with the emotional expressiveness of Ukrainian melodies. Their multicultural sound merges the freedom of jazz with the emotional power of Ukrainian folk melodies and has earned LELÉKA numerous awards, including the European Young Artists' Jazz Award and a nomination for the German Jazz Prize as 'Band of the Year'. LELÉKA has become an important musical ambassador for Ukraine. Amidst the ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine, the ensemble's work has become a powerful artistic statement for the visibility and the right to exist of Ukrainian culture. In May 2026, the anniversary LP '10 Years of Music' will be released by GLM Music – a special vinyl edition that combines musical milestones, hidden treasures, and all previously unreleased tracks on vinyl from a decade. This release coincides with a historic moment: in 2026, Viktoria Leléka represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest. The album and the subsequent live best-of program are a piece of contemporary music history, connecting cultures and celebrating ten years of resilience and artistic excellence.
