Growing up between Bern, Sarajevo, and New York, she explores themes like relationships, queerness, identity, and the feeling of being somewhere between chaos, self-discovery, and overwhelm in her English-language songs. Her music thrives on contradictions, uncertainties, and this blend of melancholy and a sense of new beginnings that leaves a lasting impression. Without a traditional industry plan, LEILA quickly built an international fanbase, played festival shows and supported tours, and eventually signed with Grönland Records, Herbert Grönemeyer's label. With her debut album «20 SOMETHING IS A FCKING STRANGE PLACE», set to be released in September 2026, she will make her first full live show appearance at Neubad.
