Description

Let's take a leaf, then get a little closer. We will distinguish its surface, maybe small hairs or a tiny insect. But if we get even closer, what do we see? In this workshop, we will learn how to use scientific instruments to observe plants in a big way, very big, and even enormous. As part of the Green Workshops at the Botanical Garden of Geneva, on Wednesday afternoons, children are invited to share our passion for the plant and fungal world, in a playful and educational way. Themed investigations, sensory discoveries, botanical explorations, and many other activities are on the program. The living collections of the Botanical Garden are the setting for these workshops offered by mediators, gardeners, and scientists from the Botanical Garden in collaboration with volunteers from the Uni3, University of Seniors of Geneva.
