Description

In a once opulent salon, a patriarch struggles against decline while certainties and family bonds waver. Inspired by Satyajit Ray's film Le Salon de musique, this show sketches the portrait of a changing world, where traditions confront new impulses. At the heart of a hyperrealistic set in slow decay, a grandfather insists on maintaining appearances, even as bodies and memory fissure. Around him, five performers – dancers, singers, and actors – bring this delicate material to life, blending physical theater and unique visions. Here, music and suspended gestures tell of intimate erosion in the face of a slipping reality. True to Peeping Tom's universe, the piece constantly shifts towards phantasmagoria: time distorts, memories invade the present, and repressed desires surface. A work of melancholic beauty that questions our difficulty in accepting what is falling apart – in bodies, hearts, and worlds.
