Le jeu de l'amour et du hasard - Casino Théâtre de Rolle

Description

Promised to Dorante without having met him, Silvia decides to exchange her clothes with her maid Lisette to test her suitor. But Dorante had the same idea: he presents himself as his servant Arlequin. In this game orchestrated by Silvia's father and her son Mario, masters and servants find themselves caught in a love labyrinth that no one really controls the rules of. Between string lights, a disco ball, and a jukebox, the six performers make the sharp dialogues of Marivaux resonate in a lively and joyful staging. Misunderstandings, dilemmas, and romantic impulses follow one another in this comedy where social conventions and feelings are equally played with.
