Laughter and Tears: Ferlinghetti and Jazz

LAUGHTER AND TEARS… An evening of jazz and poetry will showcase the creators' original approach to working with verses. In addition to well-known jazz pieces, songs created specifically for this event will be performed. The audience will not only hear the recitation of the poem but will also immediately hear it in its musical form. We did not choose the verses of American poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti randomly for this format. He is a poet closely linked to jazz, and we simply fell in love with his verses.
