Description

A counterfeit 500 franc note is in circulation. A young man is wrongly suspected of being involved. He briefly ends up in prison. But afterwards, nothing is the same; his life path has changed – he will seek revenge on society. Radically and without sentimentality, without psychological analysis or metaphors, Bresson shows the cruel course of events in his last film.
