La Lanterne Magique is the film club for children aged 6 to 12. It offers a new film each month to watch on the big screen and guides children in their discovery of cinema through a unique educational approach. A few days before the screening, club members receive an illustrated newspaper introducing the film. Before the screening, a fun and interactive show prepares them further for the world of cinema. Without their parents but surrounded by responsible adults, children learn to manage the emotions of the 'big screen' and share special moments with peers their age, while sharpening their critical thinking skills. La Lanterne Magique is present throughout Switzerland, including in Carrouge, where screenings are held on Saturdays at 10 am at the Cinéma du Jorat.
