Kupfer stands for songs with soul, power, and finesse. The highly acclaimed Munich duo Stefan Weyerer and Nick Flade celebrate their concerts energetically, with groove and solo highlights. With impressive stage presence and on the border between lightness and depth, the two exceptional musicians have been delighting audiences and the press since 2017 and have been seen nationwide on club concerts on TV and radio over the past years. At the concert in the Fischhalle Harburg, the duo will have songs from their new album, which will be released at the end of 2026 on BSC Music. The first two Kupfer albums, "World Let’s Hug the A**holes" and "Der fette Tanz des Lebens" (BSC Music), combine the mostly German-language lyrical worlds of Stefan Weyerer with groovy bluesy guitar magic and Nick Flade's energetic keyboard performance. The two are not moralists, but they are concerned not only with introspection but also with the world "out there." Since his last album with "Kapelle Weyerer," "Indie-Poet" Weyerer took time for a new project and founded Kupfer. He has written award-winning film music for independent cinema, works on theater projects, and produces albums and songs for other artists. He acts as a studio and live musician far beyond the borders of pop. In his own right and as a sideman, he has already performed live throughout Europe and the USA. Nick Flade was already in demand as a live and session musician at the age of 17. He is now also booked internationally. In recent years, he has performed on stage with Chaka Khan, Max Mutzke, or Laith Al-Deen. He also works as a producer and songwriter. It is logical that the two Kupfer protagonists produce their songs themselves and also play almost all instruments on their albums themselves.
