KUNZ is back! As the "City Country River Poet," the award-winning Lucerne dialect musician presents eleven brand new songs. Whether sparsely instrumented ballads or driving pop anthems – all are declarations of love for existence.

How he found the time for the seventh studio album, the now four-time father himself doesn't really know: "It happened so to speak between door and hinge," says KUNZ with a laugh. And maybe "City Country River Poet" is such a hit precisely because here is someone standing in the middle of life. A poet of everyday life who assigns meaning to small things and highlights ordinary people: "Every little person is 'the world' to someone," says Kunz. He beautifully captures this in "Die ganzi Wäut," the duet with Anna Känzig.
Here someone invites us to embrace the beautiful: "S Glöck, das isch flöchtig, umarms, wenns du hesch!" The master of dialect folk looks 99 years ahead and 99 back. "Even back then, people had the feeling the world was ending," says KUNZ. "If I can give people a little hope and encourage them to keep confidence, then it's good." He does it with infectious joy of life. That is strong. Because optimism is not for the weak.
