The crime author from Horgen, James J. Frei, reads from his book "Heather on the Coffin", in which private detective Smith P. I. has to solve a murder case in the Scottish whisky scene. Along with this, we taste some selected drams of Single Malt and enjoy a small aperitif. An exciting evening in Scotland without getting on a plane. About the author: After working as a painter for 50 years, James J. Frei discovered his passion for writing rather late in life - but with all the more enthusiasm. Since 2019, he has written seven crime novels about private detective Smith P. I., who investigates and solves cases in the Highlands as well as in the Lowlands, cases where even the police are at a loss. James' books are always illustrated by his own hand.
