Enrico Maria Barbareschi, Leopoldo Saracino, and Fabio Spruzzola founded the Chitarra Trio in 1991 and are among the long-established guitar ensembles of this kind. All three musicians trained at the Conservatorio "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan and have collaborated with renowned artists and institutions. The program "Musica Latina" combines works from various eras and styles. Audiences will hear, among others, Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto RV 85, Filippo Gragnani's Trio op. 12, as well as compositions by Nicola Piovani, Isaac Albéniz, and Federico García Lorca. From classical elegance to Spanish temperament and well-known melodies from La vita è bella, the concert promises a varied experience. An evening of virtuosic guitar sounds, Mediterranean atmosphere, and the unique timbre of 18 strings.
