Description
A road trip along the Australian west coast inspired the multi-instrumentalist to his solo project Marian Redhox. On his debut album Walkabout, he tells of this journey as well as personal experiences that have shaped him as a musician. With a charismatic voice, 12-string and slide guitar, and live looping, he creates a surprisingly dense sound that goes far beyond the possibilities of a solo artist. Musically, he moves between The Lumineers and Xavier Rudd – acoustic, honest, and slightly melancholic.
